This page provides a brief overview of currently running or soon-to-be-running DMT monitors. Each monitor provides (or is supposed to provide) more detailed documentation, accessible from the "spi page" that monitors the monitors running on the Hanford and Livingston DMT workstations.

At the bottom of this page are additional links related to the DMT figures of merit and  infrastructure.

Background Monitors under the

Control of the Process Manager

(nominally running continuously during / between data runs)

Performance Characterization (steady-state monitoring): Transient Phenomena (glitches, state transitions) Data Acquisition / Timing Validation Miscellaneous

Background Monitors under Development

(private code running sporadically)

Performance Characterization (steady-state monitoring): Transient Phenomena (glitches, state transitions)

Interactive Monitors and Miscellaneous Tools

(meant for foreground running and stopping on demand)

Figures of merit

A set of figures of merit based on DMT monitor information have been put together for viewing during data runs to assess interferometer performance.
